TRENTON - A Trenton man was found dead this morning in a makeshift shelter in the East Ward, police said.
Police found the 40-year-old man in a shelter in the rear of an abandoned house on the 700 block of Whitaker Street around 10 a.m. Monday, Lt. Stephen Varn said.
The Mercer County Medical Examiner's office was contacted and an exact cause of death was unavailable Monday, Varn said.
The man's name is not being released pending notification of family members, Varn said.
