TRENTON - A Trenton man was arrested and charged with attempted murder for a June shooting that hospitalized another man, police said Monday.
Breeyon Jones, 27, was charged with criminal attempted homicide, aggravated assault, weapons offenses and four outstanding warrants in connection with a June 29 shooting on the 100 block of South Olden Avenue. Breeyon Jones, 27, was arrested by U.S. Marshals on the 300 block of Walnut Avenue around 10 a.m. Friday, Lt. Stephen Varn said.
Jones was charged with criminal attempted homicide, aggravated assault, weapons offenses and four outstanding warrants in connection with a June 29 shooting on the 100 block of South Olden Avenue. The shooting left a man with numerous gunshot wounds, Varn said.
The victim, whose age was not immediately available, was treated at Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton, Varn said.
Jones' bail was set at $200,000 cash, according to police records.
