Two victims suffering from gunshot wounds after the party were in stable condition Saturday afternoon.
TRENTON - Two masked gunmen forced their way into a house party in Trenton early Saturday and started shooting, injuring two partygoers, Trenton police said.
Officers got the call around 12:45 a.m. Saturday about shots fired at an apartment on the first block of Prospect Street.
Police believe the shooters were two men who wore masks.
On Saturday afternoon the two suspects were still at large, Lt. Stephen Varn said.

When officers arrived at the scene they found one person suffering from a gunshot wound to the back of his head and a broken finger. That victim was transported to a local the hospital early Saturday.
A short time later another victim from the party came to the hospital, suffering from a gunshot wound to the right side of his chest, Varn said.
Both victims were in stable condition Saturday afternoon.
A woman who lives in the area said she heard the shooting early Saturday morning.
"I heard four gunshots," Sarah Ortiz said, adding that she stayed in her bed instead of going to check. She didn't see anyone leaving the scene nor did she hear any yells but a short time later Ortiz said she saw police cars flooding the area. They were searching a building on the corner of Jarvis Place and Prospect Street, she said, adding that she saw them leading three men and a woman from the building.
Investigators didn't have a motive for the shooting Saturday afternoon, Varn said.
Police were unsure if there's a connection between the shooting at the party and two other shootings that happened in Trenton late Friday.
A man was wounded in the back of his legs on Oakland Street and a man suffered critical wounds in a shooting on Rosemont Avenue.
All three shootings were being investigated Saturday.
