TRENTON - Two Trenton men were caught with guns in a stolen car after making an illegal U-turn, police said Thursday.
Justice Ford, 28, and Marquise Skillman, 29, were driving a car on the 400 block of Federal Street around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday when they made an abrupt U-turn at the intersection with Lamberton Street and parked in a no parking zone, Lt. Stephen Varn said.
As officers pulled up to the car, Ford and Skillman ran. The two were caught after a short chase, Varn said.
Inside the car, which had been reported stolen out of Willingboro, police found two handguns and a marijuana cigarette, Varn said.
Ford and Skillman each were charged with weapons offenses, resisting arrest, obstruction and minor marijuana possession, Varn said.
Bail information for the pair was not immediately available, according to police records.
