Today's letters: criticizing Donald Trump
In my life I have met many people. I have read about many people. My dad told me about the Nazi's when he was a teenager during WWII as so did my mom and until yesterday I never thought I would compare anyone to a Mass Murderer named Adolf Hitler. The Final Solution was used by Hitler and those who killed 6 million Jews. I have many Jewish friends, I knew many Jewish customers when my parents owned Lieggi's and their stories especially my teacher Vera Herman Goodkin at MCCC in 1979 and her mothers stories, who told a friend at Lieggi's, Mrs. Herman awakened something in me to cherish life and children and that thing we call in our constitution called Freedom of Religion. If Donald Trump was elected as President, or anyone like him I would leave this country because I would be ashamed to call myself a American as his final solution to the Muslim people and their religion. Until now I kept silent and if I was to lose my job or friends for this letter I would see what people they truly are. Muslim people, who come to America deserve freedom and life as do the Japanese, who bombed Pearl Harbor and were in a concentration setting as were Germans and Italians during WWII. I detest war, I detest murder and I detest men like Trump, who should keep their big mouths shut and not heard to those who love freedom.
ISIS is the enemy, people who act in their name are the enemy, not those who are in a minority who are afraid to speak because like those during WWII would be shot by the Nazi's, the Fascists, and so on. I don't want Hilary Clinton as President, but if I had to choose i would want a woman or a liar than a Fascist.

In the event that Mr. Trump were to become President and adopt a policy of denying Muslims entry into the United States, how would immigration officials be expected to enforce it, other than, perhaps, against people with a distinctively Islamic name like Muhammad? Why should anyone suppose that a Muslim who is a terrorist, but who claims to be a businessperson, tourist or student, would not also claim to be a Christian, assuming he or she comes from a country like Syria or Iraq that has a Christian community, in order to enter the country?. This just adds one more level of absurdity to an absurd proposal.
