The New Jersey National Guard counterdrug unit contacted Bucks County authorities in May after it spotted the suspected outdoor marijuana grow operation.
FALLS, Pa. -- A man has been charged with growing marijuana plants in a Falls field that were spotted by a New Jersey National Guard drug interdiction chopper, the Bucks County Courier Times reported.
Daniel Santos, 33, lives about a mile away from the suspected farm on Lower Morrisville Road, where authorities seized 117 pot plants, the paper reported. The marijuana from the plants would have a street value of $90,000, according to Bucks County detective.

In July, Falls police and the Pennsylvania National Guard counterdrug unit flew a helicopter over they area and observed and photographed what appeared to be the same marijuana grow operation.
After more investigation, Santos was arrested and arraigned Wednesday on felony drug delivery charges and held at the Bucks County prison and held on $950,000 bail, the paper reported.
