President Christopher L. Eisgruber reportedly made the statements in a meeting with students from the Black Justice League, who have been occupying his office since Wednesday morning.
PRINCETON -- Princeton University President Christopher Eisgruber told students camped in his office as part of a protest by a black student group that a mural of President Woodrow Wilson in a campus dining hall should come down, a report says.
The president also said the college's board of trustees is interested in starting a committee to review the name of the Woodrow Wilson School of Public Policy and International Affairs, according to the University Press Club.

Eisgruber made the concessions to students from the Black Justice League, who have been occupying his office since Wednesday, while demanding changes on campus.
Among the demands, the students want Wilson's name removed from the college because of his racist and segregationist past.
The developments were reported in a live blog by the University Press Club, which was invited to the afternoon meeting the students had with Eisgruber.

The sit-in at the president's office evolved from a Wednesday occupation of Nassau Hall - which also continued Thursday - by students organized by the Black Justice League, who made several demands for campus-wide changes in support of black students.
Protesting students also met with Eisgruber in his office Wednesday afternoon, and vowed to remain until their demands are met.
At 5 p.m. Thursday, students were still meeting with the president in his office, and occupying Nassau Hall.
