Trenton firefighters responded in emergency status - lights and sirens - after a 3:45 p.m. report of a possible "water rescue" in the river.
TRENTON -- For the second time in five days, firefighters pulled an abandoned personal watercraft from the Delaware River Tuesday.
Trenton firefighters responded in emergency status - lights and sirens - after a 3:45 p.m. report of a possible "water rescue" in the river.
And members of Rescue Co. 1 emerged from their rig in cold water rescue suits, only to find the same broken down Kawasaki Jet Ski bobbing in the river.
The department pulled the craft from the same part of the river behind Riverview Plaza on Friday and tied it up on a boat ramp for a city tower to take possession of it.

It was unclear how it got into the river again, firefighters said.
On Tuesday, Trenton firefighters stood by as the Morrisville Fire Co. from across the river in Pennsylvania - who also responded - corralled the ski.
The craft was again hauled onto land in Trenton and tied up at a boat ramp for a city tower to again take it away.
Trenton firefighters have said Morrisville police were familiar with the craft and that it was recently abandoned on their shore, but had yet to be removed, when it broke free last week.
