An employee for Princeton House Behavioral Health was arraigned Monday on one charge of sexually assault a patient in January.
TRENTON - A Trenton man pleaded not guilty Monday to charges that he sexually assaulted a Princeton House Behavioral Health patient while he was working there earlier this year.
Jonathan Hodges, 36, was indicted on one count of second-degree sexual assault in August and was arraigned in Mercer County Superior Court Monday, according to a representative from the county prosecutor's office.
Hodges was charged early this year after a 34-year-old woman at the health center came forward and said Hodges, who was working there as a mental health associate, assaulted her in late January.
His attorney was not immediately available for comment Monday.
The patient at the health center reported that she was in her room on Jan. 28 when Hodges came in. He pushed against her, forced his hand into her pants and sexually assaulted her, according to a release from the Mercer County Prosecutor's Office earlier this year.

Video surveillance showed Hodges going into the room several times over the course of 14 minutes, according to prosecutors.
A statement from Princeton HealthCare Monday said the Hodges is still employed by Princeton HealthCare pending the outcome of his case.
"His work does not involve any contact with patients, nor does he provide any services at Princeton House Behavioral Health," HealthCare representatives wrote.
A judge upheld Hodge's $50,000 bail Monday. The date of his next court appearance was not immediately available Monday afternoon.
