The Hamilton Fall Harvest Festival was held Sunday Oct. 18 at Kuser Farm Park from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.

HAMILTON TOWNSHIP - Hamilton's annual Fall Harvest Festival brought local residents to Kuser Farm Park earlier this month to enjoy pumpkin picking, a petting zoo, hayrides, a haunted mansion, food, music and more.

"It's a great event for the kids," Trenton resident Jennifer Santiago said.

Jennifer Santiago, along with husband Pablo Santiago and daughter Ava Santiago, just finished making their own scarecrow at their first Fall Harvest Festival.

One small area of the park was fenced off for people to build their own scarecrow out of hay, sticks and donated clothes.

"It'll scare woman," Jennifer Santiago said gesturing to the scarecrow in her husband's hands.

Pablo and Jennifer Santiago said they had also done the hayride and pumpkin picking and "definitely would come back" next year.

A short walk away from where the Santiago family stood, a magician dressed as a werewolf stuck a sword through a young boy's neck.

"I got to eat something," the werewolf magician said as he drank fake blood. "What do you think werewolves eat marshmallows?"

Attendants in line for the haunted mansion watched the magician as he performed in front of a group of children.

Hamilton residents Penny and Joseph Malysaa - with 4-year-old daughter Allie - said they enjoyed the hayride, pumpkin picking and the petting zoo the most.

"It was fun last year," Penny Malysaa said. It was the family's second year at the festival.

The petting zoo brought baby pigs, miniature horses, sheep, goats, ducks and many more farm animals to the park.

"I got bit by one when I was littler," one hesitant girl said as she looked in on the goats.

Even a Frankenstein character on stilts made his way through the festival.

"Oh my god how does he stand that high?" one little boy asked his father in amazement.

A blow up slide, moon bounce, costume parade, local vendors, face painting, a photo booth, sand art, pony rides and spooky decorations also scattered the park.
