PRINCETON - On a picture-perfect Autumn day, 25 local artists were out in force, scattered throughout the grounds of Jasna Polana, the private golf club in Princeton, to create their interpretations of the graceful landscapes, with an even higher cause in mind.
They were participating in the first ArtSpace Paint Out. The event's mission is "Celebrating the arts and the power of healing through the arts" according to ArtSpace Art Coordinator Ruthann Traylor.
Bearing brushes, paints and pencils, creatives from the local areas, including some artists who are clients at HomeFront, spent the morning working and then took lunch followed by an artists round table discussion.
