"When Mayor Jackson took office on July 1, 2014, he had a bold agenda -- to restore municipal government, build collaborative relationships, strengthen public safety, activate economic development and improve public works and infrastructure," city spokesman Michael Walker said. "He and his cabinet of top professionals have been working tirelessly to make progress in all these areas."

The Rev. John Taylor of Friendship Baptist Church and the Rev. Barry Vazquez of Living by Grace Fellowship will offer the invocation and benediction.
