Students and staff were evacuated to a township community center as police investigated
UPDATE: 15-year-old boy charged with Friday's bomb threat
EWING -- A bomb threat was phoned in to Ewing High School on Friday, forcing an evacuation and disrupting the school day for the third time in as many weeks.
The threat follows similar calls on Wednesday, Sept. 14 and Thursday, Sept. 22.
In the first two incidents, the school was evacuated to the bleachers of the football field, but because of the rain Friday, students and staff were escorted to the Ewing Senior Community Center, the district said in an alert to parents.
After Ewing police swept the school, an all-clear was declared at 12:25 p.m.
"The building has been searched and declared safe," officials said.
