A Bucks County, Pa. teenager and a 21-year-old Hamilton man are in custody.
TRENTON -- Authorities have charged a Bucks County, Pa. teenager with murder and a Hamilton man with hindering apprehension in connection with the shooting death of a 20-year-old woman on Spring Street earlier this month.
The teen charged with killing Keyauna Hughey on Sept. 9 is 17-years-old and authorities on Monday did not identify him because he's a minor.
The Mercer County Prosecutor's Office said the teen suspect's in custody in Bucks County, charged with murder and related weapon possession offenses.
Raekwon Fulmore, 21, of Nottingham Way in Hamilton, is charged only with hindering apprehension in the case for allegedly driving the alleged teen shooter from the crime scene.
Assistant Mercer County Prosecutor John Boyle, at a bail hearing for Fulmore Monday morning, said detectives possess surveillance footage of a vehicle connected to Fulmore leaving the shooting scene.
A judge maintained Fulmore's $5,000 bail Monday on the hindering charge.
The Mercer County Homicide Task Force is still investigating Hughey's killing and more could be charged in the case, officials said.
Both suspects were initially apprehended in Bucks County days after Hughey's death, and Fulmore was extradited to Mercer County on Sept. 22, officials said.
Autopsy complete on woman shot dead in Trenton
On Sept. 12, neighbors and Bucks police confirmed to levittownnow.com that officers swarmed a house on Canal Road in the Levittown section of Middletown, Pa. the day before as part of the Hughey investigation.
In addition to searching the home and property, investigators focused their attention on a green SUV parked outside, the website reported.
Mercer County prosecutor's officials confirmed investigators were in Bucks County on the case at the time, but declined to elaborate.
In 2013, Fulmore, then 18-years-old and using a Sicklerville address, allegedly went on a two-state robbery spree in Trenton and Morrisville, Pa. with three other young males.
The four suspects allegedly robbed seven people in Morrisville at gunpoint, then committed a pistol-whipping, a hold-up and carjacking in the southern portion of Trenton.
In one of the Morrisville hold-ups, one of the suspects allegedly said: "We're not afraid to shoot because we're from Trenton."
The outcome of the cases against Fulmore - who was charged in Pennsylvania as an adult - were not immediately available Monday.
