TRENTON -- The man who loudly shouted at former Secretary of State Colin Powell Monday morning, interrupting a live television broadcast in Washington, D.C. is from Trenton, officials said.

Andre Ludovic Jr. was arrested following the heckling incident near the new National Museum of African American History and Culture, the U.S Park Police said.

He is also known as Ludovic Andre in the Trenton area.

Powell was appearing on CBS This Morning show to talk about the museum, which opens Sept. 24.

"You know better, Colin Powell! You know better, as a black man in America!" the man shouted. "You dropped bombs on Iraq!"

Powell turned to CBS anchors Charlie Rose, Norah O'Donnell and Gayle King and joked: "Is he one of yours?"

WUSA9 in Washington reported that witnesses said the man appeared to be out jogging when he somehow made his way around security and stormed the set.

Ludovic is 28-years-old and was charged by the Park Police with unlawful entry and simple assault, a Park Police spokeswoman said Tuesday.
