A Steinert High School freshman was riding a bicycle was struck at about 7:30 a.m. Thursday.
HAMILTON -- A Steinert High School freshman was struck by a vehicle in the school's student parking lot Thursday morning, Hamilton police said.
The freshman was riding a bicycle in the parking lot at about 7:30 a.m. when he was hit by a pickup truck driven by a 17-year-old student, police said.
The cyclist was taken to Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton for treatment of ankle injures. Police did not have his age.
The 17-year-old had just pulled into the parking lot off Klockner Avenue and was turning when his vehicle struck the bicyclist, police said.
