Arnoldo Agreda-Rodriguez was arrested six months ago and deported in early August
PRINCETON -- A man charged with grabbing a woman's neck and threatening her when she wouldn't have sex with him earlier this year has been deported, the Mercer County Prosecutor's Office said.
Arnoldo Agreda-Rodriguez, 43, was was charged in January with making terroristic threats and simple assault for allegedly assaulting the woman, whom he was dating, officials have said.
Agreda-Rodriguez allegedly told the 48-year-old victim in the attack, "this is the last time I will see your face," prosecutors have said.
Charges in that case were later dismissed when the investigation found inconsistencies in the victim's reporting to police, officials said.
In May, though, Agreda-Rodriguez was charged in a separate case in which he allegedly brandished a weapon in Princeton during a fight with his roommate, officials said.
Earlier this month, the prosecutor's office dropped the May charges against Agreda-Rodriguez after learning he was deported to Guatemala, prosecutors said.
