Christopher Williams, 35, of Trenton, faces multiple weapons and drug charges
TRENTON -- A Trenton man is facing weapons and drug charges after a resident saw him with a gun and alerted police.
Street Crime Unit detectives responded to the 200 block of Pearl Street at 6:39 p.m. after receiving a tip, said Lt. Stephen Varn. The man, later identified as Christopher Williams, 35, became visibly nervous as police approached him.
The officers seized a loaded handgun, which had been reported stolen from Chambersburg, Pa., 12 grams of marijuana and $580 in cash, Varn said.
Williams was charged with unlawful possession of a handgun, certain persons not to have weapons, possession of a weapon during a narcotics scheme, receiving stolen property and other drug offenses.
