WEST WINDSOR -- A fire that damaged an office in a dental office on Alexander Road Sunday evening was caused by an electrical malfunction, and deemed accidental, West Windsor police said.
Smoke billowed from the roof of the office in the 700 block of Alexander Road shortly before 4 p.m. before township firefighters extinguished it, police Detective Chris VanNess said.
The office was closed and nobody was inside when the fire started, VanNess aid.
The cause was traced to a malfunction in a tripped fuse in a wiring box, VanNess said. Most of the damage was contained to one room in the rear.
