The car had been stolen from Pemberton the night before
FLORENCE -- Four people are facing charges after the stolen car they were driving was pulled over by police early Monday.
The 2006 Honda Civic was stopped on Route 130 at 1:51 a.m. after a random license plate check showed the car had been stolen from Pemberton the night before, said Capt. Brian Boldizar.
The driver, Tony Bracey, Jr., 29, of Pemberton, was charged with having a suspended driver's license and unlicensed driver summonses.
Michael Cross, 26, of Florence, was charged with possession of stolen property, having an open container of alcohol in the vehicle and contempt of court. He was turned over to Pemberton police for additional charges.
Taheshia Barnes, 20, of Pemberton, was charged with contempt of court from Southampton and Westampton, and 19-year-old Jasmine Hutchinson, also of Pemberton, was charged with having a plastic straw and wax bowl with heroin residue on it.
