The man was thrown from the vehicle when it struck the rear of a vehicle that was eastbound on Yardville-Allentown Road.
HAMILTON -- A 52-year-old township man suffered serious injures when the ATV he was driving struck a vehicle on Yardville-Allentown Road Saturday, police said.
Police said the man, a Hamilton resident, was thrown from the vehicle when it struck the rear of a sport-utility vehicle that was eastbound on the road (Route 524) and attempting to make a left onto Iorio Drive.
The man suffered injuries to his head and chest in the 3:45 p.m. crash. An ambulance took him to Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton where he was in critical condition Saturday evening, police said.
The woman driving the sport-utility vehicle, a 47-year-old Hamilton woman, was not seriously injured.
