The man said he went to get $80 from the teen when he was shot at multiple times
TRENTON - A man who tried to get money from his teenage drug dealer told police the teen shot at him multiple times Friday morning, according to Trenton police.
The shooting occurred around 11 a.m. Saturday when the 46-year-old alleged victim said he went to the 200 block of East Hanover Street to get $80 from his 16-year-old drug dealer, police said.
The teen told the 46-year-old that he was going to get the money and left the area but came back with a handgun. He fired four shots into the victim's car without hitting the 46-year-old, police said.
The man immediately drove to the Trenton police department and filed a complaint.
Police found the teen Saturday and charged him with attempted homicide, according to police.
The name has not been released because the teen is a minor.
