Tamere Pack was allegedly seen on Damon Street engaging in a suspected drug deal when officers stepped in, police said.
TRENTON -- A Trenton man was arrested for resisting arrest after police say he ran from the scene of a suspected drug deal.
Tamere Pack, 24, was allegedly seen on Damon Street with an unidentified man who was looking intently at Pack's hands, police spokesman Lt. Ronaldo Ramos said.
When Pack saw officers approaching, he ran down Damon Street to Asbury Street in South Trenton, before surrendering on Union Street, Ramos said.
However, the officers only recovered $312 believed to be proceeds from a narcotic deal and were unable to locate any amount of drugs, Ramos said.
Ramos said officers were unable to find the second man suspected to be involved in the deal.
Pack is charged with criminal mischief, improper behavior, resisting arrest and obstruction of administrative law.
