Police are also investigating a shooting incident at Pearl and Hudson streets Friday night.
TRENTON - Two shootings early Saturday morning sent two men to the hospital about a hour apart, police said.
City police are also investigating a possible shooting Friday night, but nobody was injured by gunfire.
Police responded to the first shooting around 2 a.m Saturday at the intersection of South Broad and Hudson streets.
There they learned that a 39-year-old victim had been taken to a hospital by bystanders, Trenton police Lt. Stephen Varn said.
Officers spoke with the man, who had been shot once in the leg.
He told police he was leaving a club in the area when he heard gunfire and realized he's been struck. He was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Police returned to the scene and found evidence of the shooting but have not identified any suspects, Varn said.
At 3:15 a.m., officers were detailed to the corner of Race Street and Martin Luther King Boulevard Jr. where they found a 26-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds.

He told police he was walking on MLK Boulevard when a vehicle pulled alongside him and someone inside fired shots at him, Varn said.
The man was hit four times in his legs and was rushed to Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton, where he underwent emergency surgery. He was in stable condition Saturday morning, Varn said
Police didn't find suspects in the shootings Saturday. Varn said investigators don't know whether the shootings are related.
On Friday night, shortly before 7 p.m., police, fire and Trenton EMS were dispatched to the intersection of Hudson and Pearl streets in the East Ward for a shooting in progress.
Officers found a victim, and he was taken to Capital Health Regional Medical Center, but doctors found he was not actually wounded by gunfire. He did suffer leg injuries, Varn said.
Officers did evidence of a shooting at the scene, including bullet casings. The incident is under investigaiton.
