LAWRENCE -- Police arrested two Trenton teenagers on robbery and related charges shortly after they held-up and beat a man on Ohio Avenue early Thursday, police said.
The 52-year-old victim was taken to a Trenton hospital for treatment following the attack, reported to police at about 4:40 a.m. Thursday.
The teens, both 17, allegedly followed the man and beat him after he pulled out his cell phone, police said. The teens fled with $9 in cash, his cell phone and other personal belongings.
One of the robbers had a knife, but did not use it on the victim, police said.
