The man was last seen in Trenton wearing a blue shirt and pants, police said
UPDATE: Charles Akselrad returned home Friday night, police said.
PRINCETON -- Police are looking for an 85-year-old Princeton man who was last seen in Trenton Friday, where a taxi driver dropped him off, police said in a statement Friday evening.
Police sent out an alert about Charles Akselrad around 6:30 p.m. Friday, saying that the 85-year-old Princeton resident left his home around 2:40 p.m.
He took a taxi to the state Motor Vehicle Commission offices in Trenton and told the driver he planned to take a bus back home.
Police said that was the last time Akselrad was seen.
He suffers from health issues and doesn't have his medication or a cell phone, police said.
He is 5-feet, 9-inches tall, weighs around 180 pounds and was last seen wearing a blue or grey short-sleeved shirt and blue or grey capri pants with black slip-on shoes, police said.
Trenton police searched the area of the Motor Vehicle Commission and local hospitals, but were not able to find him Friday.
