Today's letters: two endorsements for Michele Kaish
I enthusiastically endorse Michele Kaish for WW-P School Board.
When I started in the district 8 years ago, Michele was the first parent I met at Dutch Neck School. She was helping guide students to their classrooms on the first day of school. I was nervous and a little overwhelmed starting a new school. She was a big help to my son and me on that day.
With my son now in high school and two younger children in elementary school, Michele remains a tremendous support and resource. Her knowledge of the school system and her dedication to volunteering continues to inspire me. She seems to have never-ending energy and a deep sense of duty to do what she can to make our schools better. If I had to describe Michele in one word, it is fair. Whenever I speak with Michele, she is always open to others and wants the outcome to be reasonable and serve the greatest good. She considers issues from multiple sides and clearly communicates a concise and fair plan to move forward.
Michele has been wonderful advocate for WW-P students and their families and a valuable asset to the school board. I encourage you to re-elect Michele Kaish on November 3.

When they say, "it takes a village" to help us to provide all that our children need, I always think of my neighbor Michele Kaish. I have been deeply blessed to have her as a neighbor and a friend these last 16 years. I could not have gotten through the myriad challenges that have faced me over these years without her. She is there for people in a heartbeat, without a moment of hesitation. I cannot think of a single situation that has faced me where she has not been part of my support system and the "solution."
It is this same dedication and clarity that Michele brings to everything she does. She has been there unequivocally for each of her three children volunteering in the classrooms in every conceivable capacity, serving on every executive board position of the PTA; attending an uncountable number of school events and functions. She is not only involved in these activities, she is informed and knowledgeable. She takes the time to educate herself on every program and project. She is fair, intelligent, and insightful. It is with all of that experience, and all of that wisdom that she has been serving on the school board these last years.... giving her all to strengthen our educational programs. She has the big picture, and is singularly able to understand the decisions that need to be made during these tough financial times. I support her, and will vote for her again for our WW-P school board.
