Jonathan Hodges, an employee at Princeton House Behavioral Health may go to trial for a sex assault case last year
TRENTON - A Princeton House Behavioral Health employee will likely go to trial after refusing to plead guilty to allegedly sexually assaulting a patient last year.
Jonathan Hodges, 37, a mental health associate appeared in court Monday for a status conference during which his attorney said that he maintains his innocence and will not plead guilty to the charges of sexual assault.
The charges were issued against Hodges last year after a patient at Princeton Behavioral Health on Herrontown Road said she was in her room at the center in late January when Hodges came in.
The 34-year-old patient said Hodges walked over to her, pushed himself against her and forced his hand down her pants, according to the Mercer County Prosecutor's Office.
Prosecutors said video surveillance showed Hodges going in and out of the room several times over the course of 14 minutes.
An attorney representing Hodges did not immediately return calls for comment Tuesday.
A spokesperson for the behavioral health center said Hodges is still employed by the center but that he does not work with patients.
