PRINCETON - Police were looking for a potentially violent medical patient who walked away from an ambulance Friday evening, Princeton police said Saturday.
The man - whose name has not been released - walked away from the ambulance near Mercer Street and Quaker Road around 7 p.m. while he was being transported to a hospital, police said.
Officers immediately started looking for the man and learned that he had a violent history. They sent several alerts to the community to watch out for a 6-foot 2-inch man wearing blue scrubs.
Around 9:45 p.m. police sent out a notice saying the man was no longer in Princeton.
In a statement Saturday, police said no charges have been filed against the man.
