The court will be closed all day, but bail payments can still be made
TRENTON -- Trenton Municipal Court will be closed on Friday so that court staff can be trained in how to respond to an active shooter.
Until 1:30 p.m. Friday, the police department will accept bail at its main window on the first floor, city spokesman Michael Walker said. After that, the court's cashier windows will open to process other payments, including bail.
Traffic tickets can be made online at njmcdirect.com with a ticket number and its prefix code, license plate number and the city's municipal court code, which is 1111.
The municipal court and police department is located at 225 North Clinton Avenue.
