A 55-year-old Trenton man feels burning sensation on his butt after hearing two popping sounds outside of his home.
TRENTON - A Trenton man called police after hearing two popping sounds outside of his home, followed by a burning sensation on his skin, officials said.
A file photo of a Trenton police car At 5:30 p.m. Sunday, officers responded to a call on the 100 block of Grand Street and found the 55-year-old, who appeared to be struck by a projectile, police spokesman Lt. Stephen Varn said.
The projectile did not appear to have broken the skin, Varn said, and the man refused medical attention.
Police are unsure what caused the injury, and it is still under investigation.
