Truck fire shuts down N.J. Turnpike lanes near exit 7A

The crash occurred at about 10:15 a.m. The state police reported one minor injury.

HAMILTON -- A truck fire has forced authorities to shut down northbound lanes of the New Jersey Turnpike just south of exit 7A.

The New Jersey State Police tweeted that traffic on the northbound, inner lanes of the highway has been diverted to the outer lanes around mile marker 53. 

Traffic delays are reported in the area as of 11 a.m..

The crash occurred at about 10:15 a.m. The state police reported one minor injury.

Fire units from Hamilton were dispatched to the crash.
