TRENTON -- Police arrested two men, one a Hopewell Township teenager, on drug and firearm charges during the execution of search warrants at two Pearl Street residences.
Shaun Crawford, 30, Tyler Street in Trenton and Anah Sanders, 18, of Titusville in Hopewell Township were arrested Friday, June 10, at about 8 p.m.
The Trenton police's Violent Crimes / Warrant unit investigated two houses in the 200 block of Pearl Street for a month and allege the two were selling drugs from the homes, police Detective Lt. Rolando Ramos said.
During the raids, officers confiscated a .380 caliber handgun, 40 grams of crack cocaine, 90 units of heroin and 20 grams of marijuana, plus $410 in cash and a 1998 Lincoln car, Ramos said.
Crawford and Sanders were both charged with numerous drug dealing violations, including maintaining a drug production facility, and firearm possession charges, including possessing a firearm during a drug crime and possessing a firearm as a felon.
Crawford and Sanders are both convicted felons, state records show.
The unit, led by Ramos and Detective Sgts. Anthony Manzo, was assisted by the Street Crimes Unit and the New Jersey State Police's Crime Suppression Unit.
