All Princeton police know about "Debbie and Jeremy" is that they were married in 1999 and they're missing a ring. Now they're trying to track the couple down
PRINCETON - Somewhere, someone named Jeremy is missing his wedding ring.
The silver wedding band - lovingly inscribed with the words "Debbie and Jeremy June 1999" - was discovered on the road near Nassau Street and Pine Street recently, Princeton police said.
Although it could be a woman's ring, it looks like a traditional man's ring.
Police a photo of the ring on their Facebook page Tuesday, asking anyone who might recognize it to call the department.
The ring was found shortly after reunion weekend at Princeton University at the end of March, during which thousands of alumni descend on the town and campus.
Police did not say in their statement whether they think the ring was lost during that weekend, though.
Police are asking that anyone who might know the couple to call their department at 609-921-2100.
