Police officers found the victim shortly after responding to a 10:55 p.m. call on the block reporting a shooting, police said.
TRENTON -- A 60-year-old woman was wounded in the leg Monday night following a dispute in the 800 block of East State Street, Trenton police said.
Police officers found the victim shortly after responding to a 10:55 p.m. call on the block reporting a shooting, police said.
The woman was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
Police said the victim was reportedly involved in a verbal argument with another woman, who pulled out a handgun and fired several shots.
The female shooter fled the scene and police only had a partial description of her.
The city's Shooting Response Team is investigating.
