The driver of the vehicle, Rufino Estuardo, 24, of Ewing, did not stop at the scene, Kascik said.

Hopewell Township patrol officers located Estuardo about a mile away in a commercial building parking lot, with his vehicle, Kascik said.

Estuardo was being interviewed at police headquarters Tuesday night, Kascik said. He was not injured.

No charges had been filed in the crash as of Tuesday night.

Kascik said a preliminary investigation shows Huraleczko was heading west on Route 546 and Estuardo was traveling south on Scotch Road.

The crash is being investigated by Police Officer James Rosso, Detective Joseph Maccaquano and Mercer County Prosecutor's Office Detective Don Santora.

Police ask that anyone who witnessed the crash to call them at 609-737-3100.
