The crash, which is still under investigation, occurred on the evening of Saturday, May 14.
BURLINGTON CITY -- A 22-year-old man was seriously injured after being struck by a motor vehicle Saturday night, authorities said.
Police first responded to the southbound side of Route 130 and Bordentown Road at about 9:50 p.m. There, officers found Anthony Gennello, of Hamilton.
Gennello was taken to Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton by the Endeavor Emergency Squad and Virtua paramedics. He was listed in critical condition as of Monday morning, but no further details about his injuries were immediately available.
The driver, whose name was not released, was a 41-year-old man from Voorhees. Authorities said the man remained on the scene after the crash and cooperated with police.
No charges have yet been filed.
Burlington's traffic unit, along with the criminal investigation unit, is heading the investigation. Anyone with information on the crash is asked to call Ptl. Todd Viereck at (609) 386-0262.
