Keyonne Dupree Jr. charged in shooting that left one hospitalized
TRENTON - A Trenton man has been arrested and charged for a weekend shooting that hospitalized one man, police said Friday.
Keyonne Dupree Jr., 19, was charged with aggravated assault and weapons offenses for the April 30 shooting on the 500 block of North Clinton Avenue, Lt. Stephen Varn said.
Responding officers found no one at the scene of a 5:30 p.m. Saturday. But a short time later a man came into the Capital Health Regional Medical Center suffering a gunshot wound to each leg, Varn said.
The man told investigators that he was standing on Clinton avenue with three other people when a gunman argued with someone in the group.
The gunman fired, hitting the man in both legs.
Dupree's bail was not immediately available, according to police records.
