HAMILTON -- A masked robber jumped the pharmacy counter at the Rite Aid pharmacy in Yardville Wednesday evening while brandishing a taser, police said.

The robber then ran to the pharmacy and demanded Xanax and Percocet pills, Stevens said.

After getting a quantity of both pills, the man left the store and entered a dark-colored, small, two-door vehicle that fled south on South Broad Street toward Allentown, Stevens said.

The subject wore blue jeans, a black long-sleeve shirt and black gloves. He wore a black stocking n his head.

Nobody was injured in the hold-up, Stevens said.

Percocet is an opioid painkiller and Xanax is commonly used to treat anxiety and panic disorders.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact Hamilton Detective Frank Burger at 609- 581-4010 or contact the Hamilton police tipline at 609-581-4008.
