TRENTON -- An armed robber made off with $60,000 in cash after sticking up an employee delivering cash to an ATM in East Trenton Monday, police said.
The 11:35 a.m. robbery occurred in the 500 block of North Clinton Avenue, police said.
An employee of a company that stocks ATM machines was parked in front of a corner store while another employee was inside.
The employee told police a man swung open the passenger door of the vehicle and pointed a handgun at him and demanded cash, police said.
The man swiped a bag from the vehicle and fled the scene on foot. The bag contained $60,000 in cash.
