A 66-year-old man who was hit in the head was expected to recover, police said.
TRENTON - A Trenton man was charged with assault after hitting another man with a crowbar in the back of the head, police said.
A 66-year-old man was in a house on the first block of Harris Street around 12:36 p.m. Saturday when Howard Bryan, who rents a room in the house, arrived, Lt. Stephen Varn said.
Bryan, 60, wanted to know why the man was in the house and hit him with a crowbar in the back of the head and legs, Varn said.
The man was taken to Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton where he was expected to be treated and released, Varn said.
A warrant was issued for Bryan, who was arrested at the same address Sunday, Varn said.
Bryan's bail information was not immediately available.
