Jose Ixcolin, 24, just wanted to see his brother, police said
TRENTON - Jose Ixcolin just wanted to see his brother, so he smashed in the glass front door of a business and took a computer monitor, police said.
Police were alerted to a possible break-in at a business on the 900 block of South Broad Street around 4:19 a.m. Saturday. There, offers saw the front door glass smashed, , Lt. Stephen Varn said.
Ixcolin, 24, was arrested a block away holding a computer monitor taken from the business. Varn said.
Upon arrest, Varn said Ixcolin told police: "I did it just to get locked up so I could see my brother in jail."
Ixcolin was charged with burglary and theft. Bail information was not immediately available.
