Clergy, victims' families, community members and anyone who would like to walk will join together in prayer and in the name of peace.
TRENTON -- The United Mercer Interfaith Organization's third annual Unity Walk will travel through the city, visiting the scene of homicides in the past year.
Clergy, victims' families, community members and anyone who would like to walk will join together in prayer and in the name of peace and healing, the organization said.
The walk will start at 3 p.m. at either the Islamic Center of Ewing (685 Parkway Ave., Ewing) or the Westminster Presbyterian Church (1140 Greenwood Ave., Trenton).
From Westminster Presbyterian Church, participants will walk 1 1/2 miles and end at the Gandhi Peace Garden on East Hanover Street at 5 p.m..
From the Islamic Center, participants will drive to several locations, also ending at the Gandhi Peace Garden at 5 p.m.
