TRENTON - A Trenton woman is charged with vehicular manslaughter in the death of her sister who was ejected from a vehicle during a rollover collision in the city's North Ward early Thursday, police said.

Sharelle Anderson was driving a 2002 Mercury Mountaineer north on the Southard Street bridge around 12 a.m. when she tried to pass another vehicle at the crest of the bridge. Anderson hit a curb and lost control of the vehicle, which rolled several times on Southard Street, Varn said.
During the collision, Tina Anderson was ejected from the car. She was taken to Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton, where she died from her injuries around 1:20 a.m., Varn said.
Sharelle Anderson was treated at St. Francis Medical Center for minor injuries, Varn said.
Sharelle Anderson's bail was set at $500,000, according to police records.
Tina Anderson was one of several people charged with beating two teenage girls in a videotaped melee in Greg Grant Park in April. She was charged with two counts of aggravated assault, two counts of endangering the welfare of a child and a count of engaging in a riot.
The fatal collision is under investigation by Trenton Detective Craig Kirk and Detective Don Santora, of the Mercer County Prosecutor's Office, Varn said.
