TRENTON - A Trenton man was arrested and charged with sexually assaulting a New York woman in the North Ward Monday, police said.
A file photo of a Trenton police car Ronald Romero, 38, was arrested for the sexual assault of a 32-year-old woman, which took place on Monday in a car near the intersection of Southard and Perry streets. The woman, from New York, N.Y., was in town on a personal matter. The two had a previous relationship, Lt. James Slack said.
Romero was arrested on the 100 block of Carol Street Tuesday. He was charged with sexual assault and criminal sexual contact. His bail was set at $50,000, according to police records.
