The man was accused of assaulting a 15-year-old girl two years ago
TRENTON - A man accused of forcing a teen to perform oral sex on him, pleaded guilty to endangering the welfare of a child Monday, according to the Mercer County Prosecutor's Office.
Alhassain Crawley, 43, pleaded guilty to the charge on the agreement that he would receive a suspended prison sentence. That would require him to register as a sex offender and be placed on lifetime supervised parole, Casey DeBlasio, spokesperson for the Mercer County Prosecutor's office said.

Crawley was arrested in the summer of 2014 and accused of forcing a 15-year-old relative to perform oral sex on him. He was charged with aggravated sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child.
Prosecutors have said that the incident occurred in July, 2014. They said the girl tried to recant after telling police about the assault but that her attempts were the result of pressure from a family member.
Crawley will be sentenced on July 15. He also has to undergo a sex offender evaluation to assess whether he is at risk of reoffending.
