Police catch 15-year-old after he brings stolen replica gun to school, police say
TRENTON - Two Trenton teens have been charged with a pair of burglaries earlier this month on Dresden Avenue and a third has been identified but not yet caught, police said Friday.
Police on April 7 were called to the first block of Dresden Avenue to investigate a report of a burglary in progress. An iPad and $400 were stolen from a house and a witness reported seeing three teenage boys in the area, Lt. Stephen Varn said.
While investigating, police were contacted by a nearby homeowner on the same block who reported a replica handgun was stolen from that house, Varn said.
