TRENTON - A Trenton man was arrested and charged with the stabbing of a 17-year-old on Perry Street earlier this month, police said Monday.
Hector Mejia, 23, was on Sunday charged with aggravated assault and weapons offenses in connection with the stabbing of the teen on the 400 block of Perry Street April 4 around 3:20 a.m., Lt. Stephen Varn said.
The teen and two women were approached by several Hispanic men and the teen was stabbed several times in the neck and chest. He was taken to Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenotn, where he was treated for his injuries, Varn said.
Police are still looking for others in connection with the stabbing, Varn said.
