Assault charges follow in Trenton golf club attack

A 54-year-old man chased another man with the club, hitting him and sending him to a local hospital

TRENTON - A Trenton man was arrested and charged for hitting another man with a golf club during an argument, police said Monday.

The two were arguing near Ingrham's house on the 1300 Liberty Street around 5:30 p.m. Friday. The 18-year-old began to walk away when Ingrahm chased him with the golf club and hit him in the left side and left arm, Varn said.

What the two were arguing about was not immediately known, Varn said.

Officers Sh'Quanah Lopez and  Anthony Villaneuva arrested and charged Ingrahm with aggravated assault and weapons offenses. His bail was not immediately available.
