TRENTON - A Trenton woman who kicked a police officer faces aggravated assault charges, police said Tuesday.
Rebecca Gonzales, 36, was arrested outside Passions nightclub in the area of Chambers and East State Street after she declined to leave the parking lot and was verbally abusive to the officers, Lt. Stephen Varn said.
Gonzales was arrested outside the nightclub on obstruction, failure to disburse and improper behavior charges, Varn said.
She was taken to police headquarters and while being processed, she kicked one of the officers repeatedly in the leg. She was additionally charged with aggravated assault on a police officer, Varn said.
Gonzales' bail information was not immediately available.
